  • Visit City of Hope's InfoEd and SPIN
    • Within InfoEd, you will find SPIN (Sponsors Programs Information Network), a funding opportunities database designed to provide up-to-date information on current national and international government and private funding sources.  *All of the data in SPIN is obtained directly from the sponsoring agencies to ensure the integrity of the information.
      • SPIN allows you to perform customized searches for funding opportunities at more than 10k government (US and international) and corporate agencies and foundations around the world, providing links to over 40k programs. 
      • New funding opportunities can be emailed to you automatically when information in your personal InfoEd profile matches keywords and other criteria in the SPIN module database.

Grant Development & Writing Resources
  • The NIH Grants Process offers lots of great information from NIH on how to develop an application, includes what is needed for an application as well as tips for grant writing.
  • The NIAID “Apply for a Grant” has information on developing an application from a grant-smithing point of view.

Grant Management 
  • All research, scholarly activities and projects funded in whole or in part by a governmental agency (federal, state or local) are processed through the Office of Sponsored Research (OSR). 
  • Research, scholarly activities or projects supported by individuals or private foundations are administered through the Office of Foundation Relations (OFR).   
  • Assistance in finding grant funding opportunities, writing proposals and editing manuscripts is provided by the Office of Faculty and Institutional Support (OFIS). 
  • Negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), confidential disclosure agreements (CDAs), material transfer agreements (MTAs) and licensing of intellectual property and facilitation of collaborations between City of Hope and outside institutions and industry is provided by the Office of Technology Licensing (OTL).
